Halifax County Courthouse (NC) (United States)

Halifax County is located in the eastern portion of North Carolina and its name was derived from George Montague, Second Earl of Halifax and president of the British Board of Trade and Plantations. Register of Deeds has birth and death records from 1913, marriage records from 1867, divorce, probate records from 1868, court records from 1893, land records from 1729 and military discharge records from 1918.
