Henderson County Courthouse (NC) (United States)

Henderson County is located in the southwestern portion of North Carolina and shares a border with South Carolina. It was named for Leonard Henderson, chief justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court from 1829-1833. Register of Deeds has birth and death records from 1914, marriage records from 1800 and records from 1837. Clerk Superior Court has divorce, probate and court records from 1841.
