The Landshut State Archive is the Bavarian State Archive responsible for the Lower Bavaria administrative region. The archive has been housed in Trausnitz Castle since 1809, before moving into a new building in the north of the city (corner of Schlachthofstrasse and Stethaimerstrasse) in 2016.
