Wilson County Courthouse (NC) (United States)

The county was named for Colonel Louis D. Wilson, U.S. Volunteers, who died of fever while on leave from the state senate during the Mexican–American War. It is located in the north central area of the state. Register of Deeds has birth, marriage, death and land records. Clerk of Superior Court has divorce and court records from 1868 and probate records from 1855.
