About Me

Cristi Reed quite literally walked into her passion for Family History. At the age of 17, as a young college freshman, she discovered the Family history library at BYU. The information drew her to the large drawers of microfilm. Cristi enjoyed college-level courses in Family History and majored in Microbiology with Secondary Education. Cristi has helped numerous people understand different websites and aspects of Family History. She has more than twenty-five years of research experience. Cristi enjoys teaching and coaching family history. Cristi is working toward Certification through Board for Certification of Genealogists. She is currently working toward an associate degree in Family History Research to review and update her technique. Cristi will graduate in April 2022. Cristi completed her first Institute of Genealogy through the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh in June 2021. In addition, Cristi took Practical Genetic Genealogy by Blaine Bettinger. Cristi has a unique understanding of genetics and genealogy. Cristi is excited to be launching her business using her many talents.
