About Me

After twenty years in London, I am now based in Edinburgh. I am experienced in researching families across the UK and in British India. I have written books on family history for kids, the census, tracing ancestors in British India, and researching women at war. I teach a course for Pharos Tutors. I also edit the newsletter of the Society of Genealogists and regularly contribute to family history publications, television, radio, and podcasts.
