Angus Archives (United Kingdom)

Angus Archives is a vast collection of items covering 800 years of the history of Angus and its people. The archives house and preserve the written, printed and photographic history. We hold information on the towns of Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Montrose and Monifieth, plus the villages of Edzell, Letham, Friockheim and Newtyle. Resources include burgh records and Angus County Council records, school and poor relief records, as well as private records such as diaries, legal documents, and plans.
