Diocese of Gaeta Archive (Archivio Diocesi di Gaeta) (Italy)
The Diocesan Historical Archive of Gaeta has storage rooms and a space for consultation. It underwent an effective reorganization only starting from 1997, at the time not simple, considering the lack of expertise to which the large amount of documents had been managed, moved, distributed in previous years, without taking into account archival problems. The arrangement concerned the documentary material up to 1799. Recent documents are in the process of being sorted. The Capitular Archive of the Cathedral Basilica holds the medieval parchments, the Choral Books, the notarial deposit and various funds in the process of being arranged.
